I’m Elangely “Nani” Hidalgo, born in Harlem and raised in Washington Heights—surrounded by vibrant culture, bold beauty, and big dreams. My Dominican mother always told me, “Tú no eres del paquete”—you’re not part of the crowd.
At 15, I started designing clothes and teamed up with Benny, a local boutique owner who still helps source fabrics today. What began as custom dresses became something bigger: Nani’s House of Beauty—a brand, a lifestyle, and a love letter to self-expression and elegance.
